"ABC Kids World" is a themed area named after the famous kid-friendly channel, ABC Kids. It opened in July 2015, replacing the previous Wiggles World land, and still holds ground today.
History[]
During 2015, Wiggles World was closed to start progress on ABC Kids World, the third themed park for kids in Dreamworld. No one was able to visit Wiggles World or ABC Kids World till July 2015. Due to the new theming, Wiggles World lost the SS Feathersword to the new Giggle and Hoot Pirate Ship and Yummy Yummy Cafe for the new photo-taking place Ready, Teddy, Go! Fun Spot was still the same but with ABC Kids added to the name. The bathrooms were also re-themed with characters from "Play School".
Shopping And Dining[]
ABC Kids World is the first physical home to feature all merchandise from ABC Kids. Visitors can also stop by the new "Full Of Beans" shop to get some yummy snacks like chips and refreshing children drinks.
Character Appearances[]
ABC Kids World has lots of characters there for children and adults to meet and do some activities with. Some characters feature B1 & B2, Giggle & Hoot, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Captain Feathersword, and Fairy Clare. Sometimes, the real TV guest stars, including the Wiggles themselves, would show up for either concerts or a special event.
Logo[]
The ABC Kids World logo features characters from The Wiggles, Play School, Giggle and Hoot, and Bananas in Pyjamas. Along with the logo showed an apple, a bee, and a carrot, also spells out A (apple), B (bee), C (carrot).
Attractions[]
ABC Kids World featured the following rides and attractions:
Giggle and Hoot Pirate Ship, Hop and Hoot, Come and Play (Play School iPad Station), Bananas in Pyjamas Fun Maze, Big Red Boat, Big Red Car Ride, Wiggle House, Ready, Teddy, Go! Fun Spot, and the brand-new addition; Play School Ferris Wheel.
NOTE - The attractions/rides in BOLD indicate that the ride/attraction is themed to The Wiggles.
Closure[]
In 2022, Dreamworld announced that ABC Kids World will be replaced with the upcoming Rivertown in late 2024.
