Lion: Roar.
Donkey: Hee-haw.
Tortoise: Yoo-hoo.
Rooster: Cock-a-doodle-doo.
Elephant: Trumpet.
Kangaroo: Boing, boing.
Fish: Bulp, bulp.
Long Eared People: Shh.
Cuckoo: Cuckoo.
Sparrow: Tweet, tweet.
Long Fingered Pianist: (piano playing)
Fossil: Hoo.
Simon: The excitement was electric as the lion led the way
to the Carnival of the Animals that very day.
They could hear the music play and the voices ring out.
Tortoise: Are we here?
Simon: Cried the tortoise who let out a shout.
The lion roared with pleasure to announce that they were there.
All the animals of the kingdom. Whoops, except the hare.
They all started singing at the top of their lungs
to be thankful of the day that the carnival had begun.

Simon: It was a joyous occasion, a time to rejoice
when all the animals joined together to unite in one voice.
The lion, the rooster, the tortoise, and the roo,
the fossil, the pianist, the fish and the cuckoo.
The donkey, the elephant, and long eared people, too,
the sparrow, and the swan, just to name a few.
All the animals of the kingdom have found their way
to the Carnival of the Animals that very day.
