The "Big Red Car" is the primary method of transportation by The Wiggles. It is mainly driven by the Yellow Wiggle (Greg, Morgan, Brett, Sam, Emma or Tsehay). Jeff was the first driver of the Big Red Car, which was made out of cardboard and was big enough for the Wiggles' friends to fit in. Later on, the car was genuine, and Greg became the driver. Each Wiggle had a specific-colored seat, with Greg in the yellow driver's seat, Anthony in the blue front passenger seat, Jeff in the purple seat behind Greg, and Murray in the red seat behind Anthony. It evolved into a full-size electric golf-buggy type model, driven by Greg since 1997. In 1998, further design changes were seen, and the car is now in its contemporary form.

Driving[]
The car was of right-hand drive style, as used in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa and India, amongst other nations. However, in 2009, the steering wheel was transferred to the left, as used in countries such as those in North America, Latin America, Brazil, Philippines, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Mainland Europe. In 2022, the steering wheel was moved back to the right, albeit only on the 8-seater version.

- The Wiggles realized early on that Jeff wasn't really the best idea as the driver of the car due to him sleeping most of the time, and the driver role was given to Greg.
- Murray was originally supposed to sit next to Greg in the first motorized car, thanks to a BTS pic from The Wiggles Movie.
- In "The Wiggles Movie" and "Jeff the Mechanic" there's a storage space behind Murray for his Red Starry Guitar.
- In "Little Wiggles Theme", it was revealed that it was Greg's dream when he was little.
- Nicholas Bufalo voiced the Big Red Car in Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins!, one of the few times when the car was portrayed as being sentient.
- In Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles! and Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins!, Anthony was seen driving the car in Hats.
- In the episode Fly Through The Sky, Simon was seen driving the car.
- Murray is the only OG Wiggle that we haven't seen drive the Big Red Car.
- The font changed in Whoo Hoo, Wiggly Gremlins, then again in Racing to the Rainbow, and it stayed that way until 2014/2015, although the 2002-2005 font would be used in some Racing to the Rainbow shows.
- The car in some videos didn’t actually drive on a road but was pulled around on a platform while a vehicle drove it around.
- When Sam became the Yellow Wiggle, an "L plate" (which stands for "Learner") was added to the front for the Racing to the Rainbow Show, referencing that he's the new driver, but still learning to drive the car.
- The L plate was added back to the front of the car back in 2022 in the front and the sides.
