Lion: Roar.
Donkey: Hee-haw.
Tortoise: Yoo-hoo.
Rooster: Cock-a-doodle-doo.
Elephant: Trumpet.
Kangaroo: Boing, boing, boing.
Simon: Kangaroo, joey in her pouch. Shh, try not to wake.
Keep heading down the track. We mustn't be late.
They were all there together, so many animals, you see.
Lion, Rooster, Tortoise, and of course, the donkey.
The kangaroo has joined, there's the elephant, too.
It was now starting to look more like a mobile zoo.
They had smiles on their faces as they went on their way
to the carnival of the animals that very day.
