1995 TV Pilot[]

In December 1995, The Wiggles filmed a television pilot for ABC TV. It involved two songs, Rock-A-Bye Your Bear and Hot Potato, as well as silent comedic skits including The Wiggles riding a four-seated bicycle around Sydney. This was a result of ABC TV executives determining that The Wiggles did not have a good rapport with their audience, so they should not speak directly to camera, as was their style. The ABC also told The Wiggles to update their look, swapping out skivvies and trousers for the trendier shorts, caps and t-shirts, as seen in the promotional image as well as a few music videos of songs from Wake Up Jeff and the 1996 ARIA Awards Best Children's Album nominations clip, which was possibly filmed around the same time.

26-Episode Version of TV Series 1[]

In 1997, it was announced that a new 26-episode television show (referred to as "the Wiggles Show") would be completing production that year, however, they only ended up with 13. The extent to which the remaining 13 episodes were developed is unclear, including whether Greg Truman had written their scripts. Greg Page indicates in his book, Now and Then that the television scripts were written before The Wiggles Movie, so it is possible but not confirmed.

The Wiggles' Second Movie[]

In October 1998, it was announced that Don Arioli and Greg Truman were teaming up to write a new Wiggles movie, to be released in 2000.[1] Beyond that, anything about the progress or development made on this project is unknown.

German Wiggles[]

In 2001, The Wiggles were planning to introduce the first foreign-language franchise in Germany. Again, it is uncertain how far into development this got, though it certainly didn't eventuate. although there was a German dub of Wiggle and Learn on KidscoTV as seen on a clip from Facebook, as well as a German dub of The Wiggles Movie.

Second Movie (2005)[]

It was announced in 2005, that The Wiggles were looking to finance a second movie. This would have been potentially financed by New Line Cinema or a Bank and would have cost more to make then The Wiggles Movie. This was probably cancelled due to Greg's departure the following year. [2]

Japanese, Chinese, Brazilian, Indian and European Wiggles[]

The end credits of the documentary The Wiggles Take on the World briefly mention these specific markets to be the next in line for localized productions of The Wiggles after Taiwan and Latin America. While no 'local' Wiggles shows in these countries were produced, dubs of the Australian Wiggles' TV series have aired in some of them; The Wiggles and Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles! in Japan, Wiggle and Learn in Latin America and Spain and Ready Steady Wiggle! in India.

African, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysian Wiggles[]

It was announced in a 2005 article from the age that there were plans for localized versions of The Wiggles in Africa, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore. These were scrapped presumably due to foreign countries using the Australian Wiggles to teach children English.

Wiggles In Wonderland[]

Animated test render of the group

A 2D-animated series that was pitched to The Wiggles by ex-Disney animators while Sam was the Yellow Wiggle. The only known footage is a short animation test featured in the demo reel of animator Matt Diks. If the title is any indication, it probably would've been a wiggle-fied version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

Pandamonium[]

In 2014, The Wiggles announced that they would be doing a new film which would have been released in 2016 and directed by Ben Elton. It is most likely cancelled due to the departure of Emma Watkins.

Wiggle at Home![]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Wiggles wanted to create a video series that could involve doing fun activities while in the house. The series is presumably cancelled due to Emma's departure in addition to the Wiggles being pre-occupied with other projects.
