Donkey: Hee-haw.
Tortoise: Yoo-hoo.
Rooster: Cock-a-doodle-doo.
Elephant: Trumpet.
Kangaroo: Boing, boing.
Fish: Bulp, bulp.
The Long-Eared People: Shh.
Cuckoo: Cuckoo.
Simon: They were all getting tired. It was getting very late
but the sound of the cuckoo would keep them all awake.
Cuckoo: Cuckoo.
Simon: The cuckoo flew on ahead way up through the sky.
There's the fish, there's the elephant and the kangaroo hopped by.
On marched the lion tall and proud.
The rooster, donkey, tortoise and long-eared people not a sound.
Cuckoo: Cuckoo.
Simon: On and on they went on their merry way
to the carnival of the animals that very day.
