DJ Dorothy is Dorothy the Dinosaur but as a DJ in 2024 onward. This transformation is part of a larger project called "The Wiggles Sound System: Rave of Innocence," an EDM-inspired album that remixes classic Wiggles songs. The album, produced in collaboration with DJ Lenny Pearce, aims to blend the sounds of childhood with adult-oriented electronic music, creating a unique experience for both kids and parents.
DJ Dorothy has been making appearances at clubs and events, surprising fans with her new musical talents. She's been quoted as saying, "I've always loved dancing ballet and now as a DJ, I get to dance and perform in the club and it's fantastic to see so many Wiggly fans". This new persona allows Dorothy to connect with a different audience while maintaining her appeal to children. DJ Dorothy and her crew are now touring, bringing remixes of popular Wiggles hits like "Hot Potato," "Fruit Salad," and "Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga" to various venues.
