David Stratton is an Australian bassist, composer, and arranger who performed as a musician on Dorothy the Dinosaur, Dorothy the Dinosaur's Memory Book, The Kingdom Of Paramithi, and Dorothy the Dinosaur's Rockin' Christmas.
Stratton has recorded sessions with various Australian and international artists such as David Campbell, Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones, and Jose Feliciano and has worked as music director for various live productions, including the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2000 Summer Olympics.
In addition to performing as a musician, he also teaches music at various high schools and colleges and serves as a director of Ormandy & Stratton Pty. Ltd, which has provided a variety of musical services including direction, production, and arrangement and composition for over 30 years.
