For her character in The Wiggles, see Evie Wiggle.
Evie Jane Ferris (born 18 February, 1997) is an Aboriginal Australian ballerina dancer of Taribelang and Djubugay descent who has worked with the Wiggles since 2021, most notably performing as the Yellow Fruit Salad TV Wiggle.
From 2015 to 2024, Ferris also performed with The Australian Ballet, which caused her to occasionally miss some Wiggles concerts featuring the expanded lineup of the group. On some occasions in 2022, her sister Ella Ferris has filled in for her as a live understudy.
Anthony Field has named Ferris as a potential successor for him when he retires from the group.[1]
Career with The Wiggles[]
Ferris first worked with the group when she appeared as a guest in the music video for "We're All Fruit Salad!" in January 2021. The following September, Ferris joined as an additional member of the group as part of the expanded Fruit Salad TV lineup, initially wearing the blue skivvy, but later switching to yellow to better represent the Aboriginal flag.
