- This song was used in "Wiggly Medley" but the word "Christmas" was replaced with "Pirate" since it wasn't a Christmas medley. The only exception was in the 1997 Carols in the Domain performance.
- A video for this song was believed to be filmed in 1996 to promote the album.
- Despite Captain Feathersword being played by Paul Paddick during the song in the Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas video, Anthony voices him in the song.
- The guitar riff from the beginning of this song was later used for "Play Your Guitar With Murray" in 2001.
- On November 18th 2018, the 2017 version was uploaded on The Wiggles' YouTube channel.
- The Wiggles performed this song on Recovery in 1998. Their performance was shown when the OG Wiggles hosted Rage in October 2021.
