"Food" is the first episode of Series 2 and the 14th overall episode of The Wiggles.

Plot[]
The Wiggles talk about food.
The Wiggles sit around and talk about how they like things, and share the five food groups. Then they wonder what Jeff (who is asleep) is dreaming about.
Song #1: Hot Potato (from Yummy Yummy)
The four Wiggles try to enter their own house but Flora Door asks for the magic word, which isn't "abracadabra" or "alakazam", but "please" is the word, so Flora lets them in.
Dorothy and Wags have breakfast. Wags eats a bone while Dorothy eats roses.
The next two segments have no dialogue, though Hot-Pots The Oven is the only character who speaks.
Jeff gets a potato out of the oven and some juice and is ready to eat, but Hot-Pots tells him to wash his hands first, so he goes off to wash his hands. Murray comes by and since his hands are clean (Hot-Pots asks to make sure), he decides to grab the potato and leaves. Jeff comes back and right when he is about to drink the juice, with Hot-Pots pointing out the juice is good for him, he gets puzzled because he can't find the potato. He is forced to have Hot-Pots cook another and leaves to wait for it to be done.
Song #2: Food Food Food (Oh How I Love My Food) (from Toot Toot!)
Greg comes to the table and drinks the juice and leaves. Jeff gets a potato out of Hot-Pots and is going to eat, but he sees that there is no juice in the glass, so he leaves to get more juice. Anthony comes and eats the potato and leaves. Jeff comes back and he can't find the potato. He gives up out of frustration and the other Wiggles briefly come to speak to Jeff before leaving.
Greg makes an egg disappear. Anthony says he's going to make something disappear too and borrows Greg's hat and cape. Anthony asks for a plate of pasta, and after a few magic incantations, proceeds to eat all of it!
Jeff goes outside with his picnic lunch and cake. Henry goes out-of-lake fishing and snags Jeff's cake! However, Jeff still has his sandwich. Henry helps himself to the cake.
Song #3: Fruit Salad (from Yummy Yummy)
Greg, Murray, Anthony and Jeff talk about their favourite foods. Greg likes carrots, Murray likes bananas, and Jeff likes broccoli. As for Anthony, he loves all foods!
During the night, a strange growling sound wakes up the Wiggles. After searching Wigglehouse, they go to the Big Red Car and travel around town to find the noise; upon hearing it, they speed ahead. They visit Dorothy and Wags, both who don't know where the growling sound is coming from. While searching the streets, Officer Beaples and Captain Feathersword join them, with the Captain preparing to tickle whatever's making the sound. Beaples motions everyone to wait and listen. She hands an apple to Anthony, and after he eats it, the growling is gone. The growling was Anthony's stomach! Another growling sound is heard, but it's actually Wags (having recently fallen asleep) dreaming of chasing something.

- This is the first episode of TV Series 2, which includes a new theme song, new characters and new video clips.
- This is also the first episode in general to use Hanna-Barbera sound effects.
- The scene where The Wiggles talk about their favourite foods was later recycled in the episode "Hygiene".
- Anthony says he doesn't have a favourite food and he likes all foods, but in The Wiggles Movie, his favourite food is said to be fruit salad.
- This also happened in Top of the Tots where he said his favourite food is apples.
