Trivia[]
- The video was filmed at the now-defunct Wonderland Sydney. The ship seen in the video was an attraction known as Toohey’s Tall Ship, which was used for live pirate shows. It was demolished in 2000 to make room for new attractions. In the background, a pirate ship ride called Bounty's Revenge can be seen in its inoperative mode. This ride was sold to Sunway Lagoon in Malaysia after Wonderland's closure and still operates there to this day.
- The original 1998 version opens with a close shot of a Captain Feathersword flag just before the next shot where Greg starts singing.
- Sam Moran is one of the pirates in this song.
- The opening guitar riff has been used multiple times.
- This song appears in 6 episodes of Series 2, more than any other song.
- The shirts worn by the adult cheerleaders are almost the same as the ones worn by the Wiggles in Wiggledance!.
