Go Santa Go! is the forty-third album released by The Wiggles, the group's 5th Christmas-themed album, and the first Christmas album featuring the new generation of Wiggles (Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce and Lachlan Gillespie).

Late Australian media personality Bert Newton and his widow, singer and actress Patti Newton, make guest appearances on the album as Santa and Mrs Claus, and football players Lote Tuquiri, Joel Reddy, and Jay Laga'aia are also featured as guest stars.

Trivia

• "Ring-A-Ding-A-Ding Dong!" and "Here Come The Reindeer" were the only songs on the album where Paul Paddick voices Santa instead of Bert Newton.
• This was the first album to have Lachlan Gillespie provide vocals for Wags the Dog and Paul Paddick provide vocals for Dorothy the Dinosaur.
• This was the final album to feature Bláthnaid Conroy Murphy as a songwriter, backing vocalist, and musician.
• Several of the songs that reuse prior instrumentals, such as "Go Santa Go", "Henry's Christmas Dance", and "Ring-A-Ding-A-Ding Dong!" remove all brass tracks from the audio mix for unknown reasons.
• "Everybody, I Have a Question" was previously sung during the Taking Off live tour prior to the album's release.

Mistakes and Errors

• On "Everybody, I Have a Question", Captain Feathersword's dialogue is heard on the left audio channel.
• On "Wags is Bouncing Around the Christmas Tree", Wags' dialogue is split between the left and right audio channels instead of being in the center mix.
