Trivia[]

The instrumental track of this song was played during the end credits for Big Red Car, Wiggle Time! (1998) and Yummy Yummy (1998).
In the 1st season of Ready, Steady, Wiggle!, there was an alternate version sung at Wigglehouse where Henry had to tell everyone his favourite foods instead of teaching everyone his special dance for the song.
In the original version, a voice on the left audio channel is heard saying "Hum!" at 0:40 while Henry says "Start to bob up and down" for the first time.
In Yummy Yummy, all of the instruments are mixed in the centre, as this would have been before the final album mix was prepared by 1995.
In the 2017 version, the line "We want to dance like you" was changed to "We owe it all to you" but The Wiggles use both lines every now and then.
This song gives thanks to Terry Murray for the guitar work and Greg Truman for the backing vocals.
On Xuxa's album and video "Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos", the Brazilian version is called "Teddy O Polvo", and plays in A rather than D as in The Wiggles' English version.
A partial version is sung in Surfer Jeff.
On Eat, Sleep, Wiggle, Repeat!, the song is titled as "Henry the Octopus". not to be confused with the song of the same name.
An audio track from the Big Show concert is heard in a Disney Channel Australia commercial promoting both the concert TV special of the same name and The Wiggles in Disneyland airing in September 2000.
The 1994 version of the music video shows Anthony in a white shirt as the production team had trouble trying to get his green shirt to not reflect against the green screen. Also, there are faint white outlines around the Wiggles.
The Wiggles don't play their instruments in the 1994, 1998 and Latin American versions.
