Hot Poppin' Popcorn is the thirty-third Wiggles video special released on September 3, 2009.

Overview

Step right up and join in the fun as Anthony becomes the ringmaster and leads the Wiggly Circus! Legendary singer Jamie Redfern performs "Hot Poppin' Popcorn", Captain Feathersword amazes as the somersault king, Wags the daredevil dog does a balancing act while Henry and Dorothy host their own dances. So roll up, roll up and enjoy some Hot Poppin' Popcorn served fresh from your friends, The Wiggles!

Plot

Sam Murray and Jeff introduce themselves, Anthony says he's hungry while The Professional Wiggles are confused and say "Huh?" Anthony later says he is Anthony and he is hungry for a circus and him along with Jeff Murray and Sam go to the circus.

Intro - The Wiggles logo comes out of the popcorn bucket, And The Wiggles names along with the friends have title cards in the opening.

Song 1: It's A Wiggly Circus - Anthony introduces the circus as a ringmaster and then the circus begins.

Sam introduces the song saying they have the circus ring, Jeff mentions they have clowns and acrobats. Murray mentions they have balloons and circus music, Although Anthony get's upset because he wants to know where the popcorn is, He later notices Jamie Redfern "Jamie The Popcorn Seller" is behind them with lots of popcorn and then the song starts.

Sam claps his hands 3 times to get Jeff to wake up but it doesn't work, Then Anthony stamps his feet on the ground to get Jeff to wake up but it doesn't work. Murray rubs his tummy and pats his head to get Jeff to wake up but it still doesn't work, Murray let's the audience decide there's an idea to wake up Jeff.

Song 3: How Are We Going To Wake Up Jeff?

Sam says an idea to travel which is walking, Murray also has an idea which is hopping. Anthony has one which is walking like a robot. And finally Jeff has one which is cycling on a bike.

Song 4: Circus Cyclists Cycling!

Murray introduces the next song with Dorothy The Dinosaur, And asks Dorothy if she wants to do a Wiggly Circus dance with them. She responds with "Let's dance!"

• This special was completed in post-production on July 2, 2009.
• This was the sixth video where Jeff doesn't play the accordion.
• This video was most likely filmed from March to May 2009.
• This is the first of three studio videos of the Sam era to utilize physical sets as opposed to green screens, the other two being Ukulele Baby! and It's Always Christmas With You!.
• This is the first time since Cold Spaghetti Western that Foodman appears and is his last appearance as well.
• This is the first Wiggles video since Racing to the Rainbow to have The Wiggles say "HUH?" when they're confused.
• This is the first Wiggles video to use the 2009-2015 ABC For Kids logo.
• This is the first Wiggles video where Wags is voiced by Paul Field.
