Lucia: Ooh, hello there.

I didn’t know you were coming in today.

What a lovely surprise.

Let’s all wave hello.

Hello, hello

Welcome to the Wiggles Show

Hello, hello

It’s so good to see you.

Simon: Yes, it is so good to see you.

Now, we’re here in the…

Both: Wiggly Kitchen.

Simon: And we wanted to make some food for The Wiggles and all of our Wiggly friends.

Lucia: Yes, That’s right.

Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword the friendly Pirate, Paloma the Mermaid and Shirley Shawn the Unicorn.

Simon: Oh, and don’t forget Bok the Hand Puppet.

I wonder what we’ll find in the…

Both: Wiggly Kitchen.

Simon: ..today. Let’s take a look and see.

In the kitchen you’ll find

Lucia: Pots and pans, how they shine

Hot Pot’s mouth open wide.

Hot Pot: For a lasagne or pie!

Simon: There’s drawers and cupboard to hold

The cups and plates and bowls

The fridge has a really cool smile.

Lucia: In the kitchen you’ll be

A clever little cooking bee.

Both: Look! What else can you see?

Lucia: There’s something else in the..

Both: Wiggly Kitchen.

Lucia: I wonder what it could be?

Simon: What’s this right here

That I can see

I’m not too sure

What it could be

Can you see it?

You can see it

Let’s look closely

At what it could be.

Lucia: Shiny surface

It’s an oval shape

With a delicate shell

That could very easily break

Do you know what it could be?

I think you’re right.

Both: It’s an egg.

Simon: That’s right, it’s an egg.

Now, I know a story about an egg and its name is Humpty Dumpty.

Lucia: Simon, are you yoking?

Simon: Lucia, that’s no yolk.

Tsehay: Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the King’s horses and all the King’s men

They couldn’t put Humpty together again

Wiggles: Couldn’t put Humpty together again

Simon: Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the King’s horses and all the King’s men

They couldn’t put Humpty together again

Wiggles: Couldn’t put Humpty together again

Lachy: Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the King’s horses and all the King’s men

They couldn’t put Humpty together again

Wiggles: Couldn’t put Humpty together again

Tsehay: That was such a great story about Humpty Dumpty.

And it was fun to act it out and do the actions.

Lucia: It’s such a shame that all the King’s horses and all the King’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.

Simon: Yeah, it sure was, ‘cause now we have three cracked eggs, and we can’t waste them.

Lucia: What to do? What to do…

Anthony: Oh-ho-ho!

Sometimes when I’m trying to find an answer to a question I have, I play the bouzouki, and the music seems to jog my memory.

Thinking, I’m thinking.

What to do with three cracked eggs.

Thinking, thinking.

Lucia: Now that you’ve played the bouzouki, Anthony, do you know what to do with those three cracked eggs?

Anthony: Yes, I know exactly what to do with those three cracked eggs.

Simon, Lucia, three cracked eggs, you need to visit the Tree of Wisdom for the answer.

Simon: (WHISPERS) Tree of Wisdom.

Both: Tree of Wisdom, Tree of Wisdom.

Let’s go visit the Tree of Wisdom.

Tree of Wisdom, Tree of Wisdom.

Off we, off we go.

Lucia: Oh, look! It’s the Tree of Wisdom.

Simon: O Tree of Wisdom, we’ve come to you, as we have three cracked eggs and we don’t know what to do.

Tree of Wisdom: I’m the Tree of Wisdom

First thing you should do

Is start to shakey-shakey

And the answer will come to you

I’m the Tree of Wisdom

Helping is what I do

No question is too big or small

I’ll go out on a limb for you!

Wiggles: He’s the Tree of Wisdom

It’s clear now we can see

We’ll shake a little faster

And do the wibbly-wobbly knee

Tree of Wisdom: You’ve got three eggs

Wiggles: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: Three cracked eggs

Wiggles: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: Food, you don’t waste

Wiggles: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: So leave with haste

Wiggles: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: To kitchen you go

Wiggles: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: With the stove on low

Wiggles: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: And fry them!

Lucia: Oh, thank you, Tree of Wisdom.

Frying the eggs is a great solution to our problem, and doing the shaky-shaky is so much fun.

Evie and Simon: Hey there, shaky-shaky

Shaking is fun to do

Hey there, shaky-shaky

I want to shake with you

Well, then

Shake a little faster

Shake a little slower

Ba-da, da, da, da-da, da

Ba-da, da, da-da

Ba-da, da, da, da-da, da

Ba-da, da, da-da, da

Hey there, shaky-shaky

Shaking is fun to do

Hey there, shaky-shaky

I want to shake with you

Well, then

Shake a little faster

Shake a little slower

Ba-da, da, da, da-da, da

Ba-da, da, da-da

Ba-da, da, da, da-da, da

Ba-da, da, da-da, da.

Simon:

Whoo!

Shaky-shaky.

It’s important to remember to always have a grown-up with you in the kitchen to help with all the kitchen appliances.

In this case, like the Tree of Wisdom said, we’ve turned the stove on low to fry the three cracked eggs.

Lachy: The stove is on low, and here are the three fried eggs.

Anthony: I can’t wait to eat.

Oh, no.

All: Oh, what?

Anthony: Oh, no.

All: Oh, what?

Anthony: Oh, no, no, no, no.

All: Oh, what, what, what, what?

Anthony: If I’m not mistaken, there are six Wiggles.

One, two, three, four, five, six.

And only three eggs.

One, two, three.

What do we do, Simon? What do we do?

Simon: Well, there is only one thing to do, and thankfully I have my thinking cape on, because this helps me think. Let’s see. Hmm.

All: Yes?

Simon: OK.

All: Yes, yes?

Simon: A-hah.

All: Yes, yes, yes?

Simon: Yes, I think I’ve got it.

So, there are six Wiggles and we only have three eggs.

What we need to do is determine who actually wants an egg.

Lucia, would you like an egg?

Lucia: I’m OK, Simon.

Simon: Hmm. Caterina, would you like an egg?

Caterina: I would really love an egg please.

Simon: That’s one egg.

Caterina: Thank you.

Simon: Nothing for me, thank you.

I’m fine. Anthony, would you like an egg?

Anthony: Well, Simon, there are three Wiggles left, two eggs.

I will politely decline your kind offer of an egg, so no egg for me.

Simon: Well, Tsehay, would you like an egg?

Tsehay: I think I would like an egg, Simon. Thank you.

Anthony: Well, there’s only one egg left, and one Wiggle.

Simon: Lachy, would you like an egg?

Lachy: Well, Simon, if you can’t join ‘em.. ..eat ‘em.

Wiggles: Egg-celent.

Let’s Ready, Steady, Wiggle
