Plot[]
The Wiggles use their imagination to come up with a song. Suddenly, Greg thinks about ducks. In his mind, he pictures a yellow duck, and the duck quacks twice, until it falls and Greg's thought ends there. He gets the inspiration from egg-laying ducks to make a song called Quack Quack.
Song 1: Captain Feathersword Fell Asleep on His Pirate Ship
Dorothy and Wags are trying to figure out how to make the Munchworm stop eating her roses. Wags suggests they hurt the munchworm, but Dorothy turns down that idea. She says that despite not liking munchworms, they still have to eat food. Dorothy then asks the viewers what they should try feeding the munchworm, only to end up with some silly ideas. Next, Dorothy and Wags use their imaginations and the latter thinks of a bone. Wags then tries giving the munchworm a bone, only for it to toss the bone back to him. While they continue to use their imagination, Wags' thought cloud grows big, which leads to him leaning against Dorothy. After accidentally knocking over her compost bucket and explaining to Wags where compost comes from, Dorothy decides to make compost soup and feed it to the munchworm.
Song 2: D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (My Favourite Dinosaur)
Dorothy and Wags have just finished making Rosy Petal Compost Soup. After firmly reminding Wags not to squish the munchworm, Dorothy puts a straw in the bowl of soup to feed the munchworm. It likes the soup and Dorothy says she'll make more soup in exchange for the worm no longer eating roses, which it agrees to. Dorothy tells the viewers that sometimes, when a person makes a promise to someone, they shake hands to show that they really mean it. After shaking hands with the munchworm, Dorothy comments that it has a strong handshake.
Greg and Anthony have run out of ideas on how to get the rabbit out of the hat. Anthony uses his imagination and an idea pops into his head. Anthony whispers his idea to Greg and the latter walks out of the kitchen. He comes back wearing his shaky clothes (from the Yummy Yummy re-recording) along with a guitar and mic stand. Greg plays guitar and sings to the rabbit, who pops out of the hat. Anthony says there's lots of rabbits applauding Greg's performance.
The Wiggly Group were playing an animal guessing game.
Captain Feathersword tries using reverse psychology by telling Wags not to fetch. It works, and the Captain along with the The Friendly Pirate Crew are very happy that Wags finally fetched. However, it backfires at the end since Wags, who was furious at having been tricked, decides to fetch more stuff around Captain Feathersword's Dockyard.
Song 3: Go Captain Feathersword, Ahoy!
At the Wiggle Rainbow, Anthony imagines eating a big bowl of pasta, Murray imagines playing guitar in front of thousands of people, Greg imagines pulling a rabbit of of a hat, and Jeff imagines that he's sleeping. The Wiggles tell the viewers that they can imagine anything they want.
Trivia[]
- This episode marks the only appearance of the regular guitar strings on the Red Starry Guitar, that's because the Red Starry Guitar was plugged into an amplifier for the first skit in this episode.
- In a couple of other episodes it wore different types of guitar strings and some strings that don't make sounds.
- This is also the last video for the guitar.
- It's possible that the song writing skit was filmed on the same day as the Captain Feathersword interrupting skit from Manners.
- This marks the last regular appearance of the rabbit in Greg's hat until TV Series 5.
- In the rabbit skit in this episode, Greg impersonates Elvis Presley to get the rabbit out of his hat, as he is a fan of Elvis in real life.
- A new instrumental medley of Do the Flap, Ponies, I Am A Dancer, and Five Little Joeys is played during the animal guessing game scene.
- One of the unused songs from The Wiggly Big Show, D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (My Favourite Dinosaur) is seen in this episode.
- When Murray imagines playing guitar, the guitar music from the beginning of Go Captain Feathersword, Ahoy! is heard.
- This is the first episode to use an unused song from a concert video, so far, the only other was Dance with Emma which had Henry's Dance as the unused song from Wiggle Around Australia.
- Things the Wiggles were imagining at the beginning:
- Jeff: a pillow, a keyboard & some Z's used to represent sleeping
- Murray: a book, a math problem (1+1=2) & his Red Starry Guitar
- Anthony: a cheeseburger (one portion added each time)
- Greg: a magic wand, rabbit ears sticking out of a magic hat & a duck that says, "Quack quack!" before it falls (This is the same CGI duck shown in Directions & Cows and Ducks, in an animation where the duck waddles to a nest to lay a giant egg which Anthony hatches out of.)
- An early GMTV draft of the Wags and Captain segment appeared in the 2000 video: Captain Feathersword the Friendly Pirate.
