Trivia[]

TootToot,ChuggaChugga,BigRedCar(2003Live)(Bordered)

An example of the borders used in TV Series 4

  • Anthony doesn't play any instruments in this video.
  • The first Wiggles screener DVD to be released in the United States.
  • This is the first Wiggles concert video released in the USA and Canada.
    • It's also the first one released on DVD in any country. Likewise, it was the last Wiggles concert video to be released on VHS.
    • This is The Wiggles' fifth video that was released in North America before Australia.
  • An early cut of the video was used on the American screener DVD. The Overture was featured in its entirety, whereas in the final version it was cut short and clips of The Wiggles in the Big Red Car and Anthony's boat and The S.S Feathersword were played over most of what remained. The credits were also not present. The music mix differed from the final album and video releases, most notably Greg's lead vocals are more clear during parts with heavy backing vocals. There were also additional dialogue tracks during the songs such as Murray wishing everyone "Merry Christmas" during Wiggly Christmas Medley. This version was also used in TV Series 4, as well as a promo for the American DVD/VHS release, as both use this earlier audio mix. Some backstage audio can also be heard at the end of the Wiggly Christmas Medley.
    • Despite the unfinished version was used for the American screener DVD, the final version of the special was completed in post-production on September 15, 2004.[7]
  • This is the last Wiggles video to be filmed and released in 4:3 full-screen. Because TV Series 4 was shot/released in 16:9 widescreen, when footage from this video was used, they were given a curtain border on the sides, similar to how Wiggle-coloured borders were later used in Hot Potatoes! The Best of The Wiggles. Footage from this video has been cropped to widescreen in various places such as an SBS Viceland interview with Murray Cook.
  • This is Greg Page's favourite Wiggles concert video.
  • This is the first Wiggles HIT Entertainment DVD to have Motts being advertised in the inserts.
  • The part with Greg saying "Merry Christmas Everybody!" before Christmas Medley was later used for a radio commercial
  • Songs from this video can be seen in TV Series 4.
  • Jeff reveals that his favourite instrument is the drums even though it's the accordion and keyboard. Anthony typically played drums around this time, and Henry the Octopus (named after Cockroaches drummer Tony Henry, who plays the drums in this video) was originally conceived to be a good drummer with his eight arms. This may make him the third character whose favourite instrument is the drums, though neither of the other characters has stated this.
  • Get Ready To Wiggle, Wobbly Camel, Weather, Weather, Weather and the News Theme make cameo appearances during "Greg's News".
  • This is the last Wiggles video until The Emma! & Lachy! Show to be released in a standard-sized DVD snap case.
  • This is the third-to-last Wiggles concert video to be released on VHS in Australia. Not only that, this is the last Wiggles AUS VHS to have the original G classification rated, before the updated classifications showed up.
  • This is the first Wiggles concert video to use the 2001-2007 skivvies, the only other was Wiggledancing! Live In The U.S.A. (both versions).
  • This video was named after a song from Yummy Yummy.
  • During D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (My Favourite Dinosaur), the Moguel Family make cameos in the audience.
  • The Wiggly Telephone makes a cameo in "Greg's News."
  • Footage from concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Wollongong, and Melbourne are shown in a bonus feature on the DVD. The same feature reveals that Ross Wilson (King Mondo) was at one of the Melbourne concerts during this tour to perform Eagle Rock.
  • The US 2007 DVD re-release disc art features promo pictures of Dorothy the Dinosaur and Captain Feathersword from Getting Strong!.
  • The song list order on the back cover is different than in the video, highlighting some of the more popular tracks first. The US screener DVD is the only one that gets the song listing correct.
  • The US DVD back cover says that it runs 140 mins, despite the running time actually being 77 minutes. This is because it's counting the special features in the running time.
  • In the booklet that came with the Santa's Rockin'! US VHS/DVD release, the working title at the time was "Wiggle all the Way Live!"
    • This started the rumor that the footage from the "Santa's Rockin'! tour" was used instead of the 2003 concert footage, but it was later debunked when the Sydney concert footage was filmed in December 2004 which wouldn't be enough time to edit and release it before January of 2005.
  • On the American DVD disc, the copyright date said 2004 when it was released in 2005, This is because the video was made and prepared for release in late 2004, despite being filmed in 2003.
  • On the screen monitors during Eagle Rock, a scene from Space Dancing! is seen.
  • The American Screener and Hong Kong DVDs do not contain any menus or special features.
  • In the audience, a boy is seen wearing a Space Dancing! t-shirt.
  • This video is yet to be uploaded on YouTube as part of Classic Wiggles, although Hot Potato has been uploaded as part of a compilation video and Fruit Salad was uploaded individually in January 2021, along with many other versions of Fruit Salad to celebrate 30 Years of The Wiggles.
  • Revised credits are used for Rock-A-Bye Your Bear (adding Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt's names).
  • The opera version of Quack Quack that Captain Feathersword, Sam, and Dom sing is set to the tune of "Nessun Dorma".
  • The VHS & DVD inside cover advertises the following videos:
  • In the end credits, the instrumental version of Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles! plays for an extended time.
  • Near the end, when Anthony says, "Well, everybody, we're almost at the end of the show. We've got one more big song and dance to go.", it is a rhyme.
  • This is the last concert video to be released in Australia that features Greg Wiggle until Celebration!.
  • The Australian and UK DVDs have an opening animation on the main menu, whereas the North American DVD doesn't.
  • This is the only concert video to be released in Hong Kong that features Greg Wiggle.
  • The instrumental version of Let's Have A Party plays when the Wiggles say goodbye to themselves.
  • In this special, Anthony says, "Well, everybody, we're almost at the end of the show. We've got one more big song and dance to go." as a rhyme.
  • The Wiggly Christmas Medley is the only song that the children and their parents in their seats dance to.
  • In this special, three of the Wiggles were introduced, except for Greg.
  • When Greg comes through the blue curtains on the count of three, the C note plays.

Goofs[]

  • The UK DVD back cover listed 16:9 as the aspect ratio, when it was actually 4:3.
  • During their performance of D.O.R.O.T.H.Y (My Favourite Dinosaur), It showed that Murray is collecting roses for Dorothy the Dinosaur while they are not performing due to the mistake during its post-production.
  • In the epilogue, Greg and Anthony switch places, most likely due to a mistake in post-production where the footage switches to a different performance.
  • Anthony's 1999-2001 brown hairstyle is photoshopped on the cover despite him having black hair in the video.
  • The copyright screen says "2004" rather than "2005", meaning the video was finished in late 2004 but pushed to be released in early 2005.
  • In the song credits, Anthony Field and Greg Page's names are missing in Play Your Guitar With Murray in the DVD Booklet.
