Simon: A story will take you to places that you've never been

A story will show you a castle with a king and queen

A story will lead you to a stock that grew from a bean

A story, A story, but how does it begin?

A story will take you to space, with an astronaut

A story will show you the life, of a dinosaur!

A story will lead you to Humpty Dumpty on his wall

A story, a story, but how does it begin?

Lachy: Now it's time for me to tell you a story

From the beginning a story in all its glory.

Hmm, (He gasps.)

Let's start with, let's start with, Once Upon a time.

Now it's time for me to tell you a story

From the beginning a story in all its glory.

Let's start with, let's start with, Once upon a time.

Let's start with, let's start with, Once upon a time.

(A transition to an animated cloudy sky, with a title card, a Wiggles logo & an animated Baby Dorothy is showing in the opening sequence. Then, it translates back to Lachy, where he's reading the story of Baby Dorothy.)

Lachy: Once upon a time, there was a baby dinosaur named Dorothy the Dinosaur. One day, Dorothy's Grandma, Mrs. D, asked The wiggles to babysit baby Dorothy. So Simon the Red Wiggle prepared the Wiggly play area, ready for Baby Dorothy the Dinosaur's visit.

(Shot transition to Simon in front of the Wigglehouse, while raking the front yard with two dancing flowers beside him & kazoo music playing in the background, when he turns & greets the viewer.)

Simon: Oh, hello there. My name's Simon. How are you today? Oh, good! Hey, can you hear that busy music playing? You can? It's fast and busy because I'm cleaning and tidying the Wigglehouse. It's my turn today. And did I mention we're having a very special visitor coming over today? It's Dorothy the Baby Dinosaur. Now, she's only a baby dinosaur, so I'm making sure the whole place is safe and clean for her, because The Wiggles are going to babysit.

(Song: Busy, Busy, So Much To Do. A scene where Simon continues to work, while raking up the leaves.)

Simon: (singing) Busy, I'm busy, putting things away.

Busy, I'm busy, what a way to start the day.

Busy, busy, sweeping up the leaves.

Pick them up, put them in the can, I'm busy if you please.

Busy, I'm busy, putting things away.

Busy, I'm busy, what a way to start the day.

Busy, I'm busy, doing the gardening.

Pulling up the weeds and then I'll do the mowing.

(Instrumental kazoo break.)

Busy, I'm busy, everything looks clean.

Busy, I'm busy, the cleanest it's ever been

Busy, I'm busy, what an exciting day.

Everything is done cause' Baby Dorothy's on her way, hey!

(Shot transition back to Lachy reading a story.)

Lachy: After Simon finished cleaning up the Wiggly play area, his mobile phone rang.

(Shot transition to Simon, who is waiting for Baby Dorothy when his phone rings in his pocket).

Simon: Hey, that's my phone ringing. Someone's calling. I wonder who it could be. Do you like it when friends call you? Well, I certainly do.

(Song: Ding, Ding. A scene where Simon's phone continues to ring, while he's making a phone call to Mrs. Dorothy.)

(Phone rings.)

Simon: (Singing) Hear the phone ring.

(Phone rings.)

What news will it bring?

(Phone rings.)

Who could it be?

Well, hello to you Grandma Dorothy.

(Spoken) Oh, yes. Uh, hello, Grandma Dorothy. It's Simon here.

Mrs. D: Hello, dear. How's it going over there?

Simon: Well, I've swept up all the leaves and I've set out the outdoor play area.

Mrs. D: Oh, thank you. We'll be there soon.

Simon: Well, we are all so excited to see you and beautiful Baby Dinosaur Dorothy.

Mrs. D: We're leaving now.

Simon: (singing) Ah, the joy it brings, when someone's visiting.

(Shot transition back to Lachy reading a story.)

(Shot transition to Flora the Door asked Simon to waiting for a visitor to come.)

Flora: Simon, The Wiggles are about to exit the house and enter the garden.

Simon: Oh, great! Thanks for the heads-up, Flora the Door. This is exciting! Because Baby Dorothy and Grandma Dorothy, well, they're going come from over there. That's Dorothy's garden. And then Emma, Lachy and Anthony, they're going to come from the opposite direction the Wigglehouse. But what's great is everyone will be meeting right here in the Wiggly front yard.

Flora: Simon, The Wiggles want to come out, but they want to make sure you're ready for them.

Simon: Aren't they thoughtful? Yes, yes, yes, the front yard looks beautiful, and I gave the Little Red Car a shine. (He pulls an extra long black & white checkered cloth out from his sleeve & walks over to the Little Red Car.) And if you don't mind me saying myself, I think it looks... (He shakes his hips.) ..divine.

Flora: Opening for Emma, Lachy and Anthony. (She opens up, letting Emma, Lachy & Anthony out of the Wigglehouse holding gifts for Mrs. D & Baby Dorothy.)

(Mrs. D is pushing Baby Dorothy's pram across the road to the wigglehouse as Officer Beaples helps them cross safely. Then, they arrive at the Wigglehouse.)

Emma: Oh, hello, Mrs. D. Isn't Dorothy cute? (She gives Mrs. D a bunch of roses.)

(Shot transition to The Wiggles are amazed at Baby Dorothy is yawning.)

Simon: Hey, look. Baby Dorothy is yawning. And she's covering her mouth as she yawns and... (He yawns.) ..that is making me yawn too. (He still yawns.)

Good morning, you're yawning.

Should have stayed in bed.

Take a big breath and open up your eyes.

Jump out of bed, touch your head.

Lachy: (singing) And wait for the big surprise.

Anthony: (singing) Tell us more Lachy, tell us more.

Lachy: (singing) Thank you, Anthony.

When you go to start each day

Grandpa used to say,

With a little smile for everyone, Ah-ah.

No matter if it's cold,

No matter if it's rain,

Your smiles going to bring the sun.

Ah.

Simon (singing) When you go to start each day,

Grandpa used to say,

With a little smile for everyone, Ah-ah.

(Lachy: Aw, my grandpa said that too!)

No matter if it's rain,

Your smiles going to bring the sun.

Ohh-Ahh.

(Shot transition back to Lachy continued reading a story.)

(Shot transition to The Awake Wiggles are hearing Lachy snoring.)

Anthony: Can you hear that? It's snoring. I wonder of Baby Dorothy is snoring.

Simon: I wonder, but you know what... that sounds like grown-up snoring, not little-baby snoring.

Emma: Oh, you're right, Simon. Well, I'm not snoring, you're not snoring and Anthony is awake. So, let's have another guess now. Oh, my goodness! It must be Lachy.

Simon: Lachy must be sleeping inside the Wigglehouse in his bedroom.

Anthony: Well, sleep is important, so let's let Lachy sleep and maybe Simon can take Baby Dorothy for a walk around Wiggle Town. The gentle motion of the walk might help her sleep.

Emma: Oh, good idea, Anthony. I'm sure Officer Beaples, Wags the Dog and Shirley Shawn would love to wave to Baby Dorothy as she passes by in her pram.

Simon: Well, come on, Baby Dorothy, let's go for a walk together around Wiggle Town in your pram.

(Shot transition back to Lachy continued reading a story.)

The wheels take her to where she needs to be.

Very busy is Baby Dorothy

The wheels take her from A to B.

A home on four wheels that keeps turning.

A home on four wheels gently whirring.
