The MS2000 is an electric guitar manufactured by Australian guitar company Maton that was used by The Wiggles in various projects from 2016 to 2021.

The particular model used by the group is painted in all four skivvy colours and has received the nickname "The Rainbow Coloured Maton Electric Guitar" from fans.

Trivia[]

  • There exists a Maton Mastersound MS500 (one of the primary models of electric guitars used by the group since 2000) that is also painted in the 4 colours of the band members. However, that specific MS500 has a few differences from the Maton MS2000:
    • The colours of the MS500 are arranged differently from the colours of the MS2000.
    • The MS500 has signatures from all members of the band past and present, while the MS200 has no signatures at all.
    • The MS500 was only used once in a Wiggles project: at the end of the music video for "We're All Fruit Salad!". Prior to its use, it was mainly seen in promotional photos and shown on display in the museum attraction The Wiggles Exhibition, located at the Powerhouse Museum.
  • Anthony played this guitar during the latter two 25th anniversary reunion shows in 2016.
  • Kevin Parker of Tame Impala played this guitar when he appeared as a guest during the Fruit Salad TV Big Show Tour to perform his song "Elephant". He was then given the guitar to keep as a gift, alongside the blue skivvy and belt buckle he wore on stage as well. The last video appearance that the guitar was used before the fruit salad tour was Halloween Party (video) before it was given to Kevin.
  • This is one of the few Maton guitars that doesn't have the Wiggles' name on it.
