Noel Heraty is an Irish-born American percussionist who performed as a musician on Ukulele Baby!, The Sound of Halloween, The Sound of Christmas, and Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!. He also co-arranged the songs "Spagnola", "Bambino", and "La Paloma" on the former album and has occasionally appeared as a backing musician during various Wiggles concerts.

As a freelance percussionist, Heraty has worked with various musical ensembles such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and the Irish Film Orchestra, and currently performs in the San Diego-based ensemble SoulCal. He served as the touring percussionist for the Lee Company's United States tour of Riverdance from 1995 to 2001, and has performed in several theatrical productions on London's West End, including their 1991 production of 42nd Street. In addition to performing as a musician, Heraty also works as a pilot for United Airlines.

  • Heraty had once suggested the Roland TD line of electronic drum kits to Anthony Field, who wanted to implement a more diverse range of percussion sounds to the Wiggles' live shows, subsequently resulting in a Roland TD-9 kit being used for most concerts starting with the North American leg of the Wiggly Circus tour.[1]
