Song Lyrics

(Ahoy there, me hearties, ho, ho, ho, ho, let's do the Pirate dance, ho ho ho ho)
Who's the pirate with a feather for a sword, Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
(Oh yes, me hearties haha ha argh)
Who's the pirate with a feather in its hat?, Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
He tickles you, he tickles me
He tickles everything that moves and everything he sees
You know he is the leader of the pirate seas, Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword

(Ho ho ho, ho, me hearties let's do the Pirate dance ho and tickle, ooh and now we're dancing)
He can cook a birthday cake for a party you see, Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword.
He will show you how to do a groovy Pirate dance, Ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
He'll tickle you, he tickle me
He'll tickle everything that moves and everything he sees
You know he is the leader of the pirate seas, ooh, it's Captain Feathersword.
Ho ho ho ho yes me hearties
Ooh it's Captain Feathersword
Ooh it's Captain Feathersword
Ho ho ho ho me hearties, come on and do that Pirate dance, ha ha ha
Ho, now we're groovin'.
Ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
Ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
Ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feathersword
Ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feather, ooh, it's Captain Feathersword

Trivia

  • In the movie version, The Wiggles were absent, however, Greg Page's lead vocals can still be heard.
  • The soundtrack version plays on both CD versions of Hot Potatoes!, but the version from Wiggledancing! Live In Concert plays on both videos, due to the fact that ABC owns the music rights, but 20th Century Fox owns the movie rights. More often, they shouldn't use the version from The Wiggles Show! episode, Musical Bonanza.
  • The 1998 concert version was the first clip of this song where The Wiggles are seen.
