Paloma the Mermaid is a mermaid and marine biologist who first appeared in Fruit Salad TV. She was originally played by (and named after) Paloma Hendry-Hodsdon.

Due to Paloma Hendry-Hodsdon having joined The Singapore Ballet in 2023, the character has also been portrayed by Stephanie Di Coio and Julia Lanzetti during live shows and in various video material in Hodsdon's absence. In these situations, the character has been known as "Bubbles" the Mermaid.

Trivia

• In the Wiggly Fruit Salad mini-series, Paloma briefly wore a different outfit then usual, consisting of a blue and white tube top with green and blue seaweed-like ribbons.
• She's the second mermaid character, the first being Magdalena.
