Peter Mackie is an Australian musician and visual artist who performed as a guitarist on Here Comes a Song (as a guest performer on "The Gypsy Rover") and Yummy Yummy. Mackie also assisted the Wiggles during their early years of performing live, working as a merchandise vendor, roadie, and occasional suit actor for Dorothy the Dinosaur. He had previously served as the bassist in The Cockroaches from 1988 until the band's break-up, where he worked with founding Wiggles Anthony Field and Jeff Fatt.

Mackie has since independently released nine solo albums and performed with other musical artists such as a-Capella gospel group The Café At The Gates Of Salvation Choir, Jim Conway (brother of Mic Conway), rock band Texas Radio and the Big Beat, and celtic band Shameless Seamus and the Tullamore Dews. As a visual artist, his art has been shown in various exhibitions at galleries such as the Newcastle Art Space, the TAP Gallery, and the Chrissie Cotter Gallery.
