4, 3, 2, 1, Ready Steady Wiggle!

Captain Feathersword: Wa-ho! Ahoy there, me hearties. It’s great to see ya. Do you know how a pirate says hello? Hello! (LAUGHS) Let’s wave hello. Hello, hello, hello, hello. Waving as we say hello. Hello, hello, hello, hello, Hello, hello to you. Wahoo!

Lachy: Well, Captain Feathersword and I are here in the…

Both: Wiggly Kitchen!

Lachy: What brings you to the..

Both: Wiggly Kitchen!

Lachy: ...today Captain?

Captain Feathersword: Hoo-hoo. I was hoping I could borrow a scrubbing brush, to scrub the deck of the old SS Feathersword. I can’t seem to find mine anywhere.

Lachy: Not a problem, Captain. Let’s find the scrubbing brush now. It must be around here somewhere.

Both: In the kitchen you’ll find. Pots and pans, how they shine. Hot-Pot’s mouth open wide

Hot-Pot: For a lasagne or pie

Both: There’s drawers and cupboards to hold. The cups and plates and bowls. The fridge has a really cool smile. In the kitchen you’ll be a clever little cooking bee. Look! what else can you see?

Lachy: Here it is Captain. One scrubbing brush.

Captain Feathersword: Ho-ho! Thanks for that, Lachy. But What’s this I see? What’s this right here that I can see? I’m not too sure. What could it be? Can you see it? You can see it. Let’s look closely at what it could be.

Lachy: Small piece of paper or maybe cardboard. It’s some type of ticket that says “Welcome aboard”. Do you know what it could be? I think you’re right. Yes, it’s a train ticket

Captain Feathersword: Oh, a train ticket. Ooh-hoo. But what do you do with a train ticket?

Lachy: A train ticket?

Both: Toot-toot, puff-puff. Off we go!

Lachy: Down by the station early in the morning. See the little pufferbillies all in a row. See the station master turn the little handle. Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

All: Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

Lachy: Well, the pufferbillies are warming up now. Let’s do the actions a little bit faster. Down by the station early in the morning. See the little pufferbillies all in a row. See the station master turn the little handle. Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

All: Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

Lachy: I think we’re warmed up now. Let’s try it even faster. Down by the station early in the morning. See the little pufferbillies all in a row. See the station master turn the little handle. Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

All: Puff-puff, toot-toot! Off we go!

Lachy: Captain and I found this train ticket in the…

Both: Wiggly Kitchen!

Captain Feathersword: Yeah, and now we don’t know what to do with it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Lucia?

Lucia: Yes, you could use it to catch a ferry.

(HORN HONKS)

Captain Feathersword: Oh, nice

Lachy: Um, Evie?

Evie: Maybe you could use it to go on a bus.

(HORN TOOTS)

Lachy: Good one.

Captain Feathersword: Ah, Anthony?

Anthony: Maybe you could use the ticket to go on an aeroplane anywhere in the world. Tahiti looks nice.

(PLANE WHOOSES)

Both: Simon?

Simon: Well, yes, Lachy, Captain, these are all great suggestions about what to do with a train ticket, but I think I can help. See, I’ve got my thinking cape on. So let me think. Aha! I’ve got it! Lachy, Captain, you should ask the Tree of Wisdom about what to do with the train ticket. The Tree of Wisdom will help you find the answer.

Captain Feathersword: Wow, what an excellent idea, Simon. Let’s go, Lachy.

Lachy: Captain! It’s the Tree of Wisdom. Ah… (CLEARS THROAT) Tree of Wisdom, we have a train ticket to show you. It says “Welcome aboard” but we do not know what to do.

Tree of Wisdom: I’m the Tree of Wisdom. First thing you should do, is start to shakey-shakey, and the answer will come to you. I’m the Tree of Wisdom. Helping is what I do. No question is too big or small, I’ll go out on a limb for you!

All: He’s the Tree of Wisdom, it’s clear now we can see. We’ll shake a little faster and do the wibbly-wobbly knee.

Tree of Wisdom: You’ve got a ticket

All: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: A weekly train ticket

All: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: So, head to the station

All: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: Without hesitation

All: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: It’s too far to walk

All: Yes, Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: And you need transport

All: O Tree of Wisdom

Tree of Wisdom: Then catch a train.

Lachy: Oh, I understand. Thank you, Tree of Wisdom. Now I know what to do. I will go to the train station, buy a train ticket, and catch a train.

Simon: I went to the station to catch me a train. I went to the station to catch me a train. Well, I bought me a ticket for when the train came.

Tsehay: I went to the parlour to get an ice-cream. I went to the parlour to get an ice-cream. There were so many flavours, it was an ice-cream dream.

Lachy: Ooh, I went to the garden and looked up a tree. I went to the garden and looked up a tree. I saw a koala, it was looking at me.

John: I went to the fire truck to climb on board. I went to the fire truck to climb on board. And guess who’s driving the truck. It’s me, John the Fireman of board.

Captain Feathersword: Whoo-hoo-hoo! Well, Lachy understands how to use a trin ticket. He’s already caught a train. Now, how do I use this ticket to catch a train?

Anthony: Captain, let me tell you, you don’t actually ‘catch’ a train, you just get on board a train. But I’ll show you.

Captain Feathersword: Ooh, well, I really want to know. How can you show me here? Trains are massive.

Anthony: Captain, with the help of drama, you can be anything you want to be, or go anywhere you want to go. Let me show you Captain. Now, pretend you’re waiting at a train  station for a train.

Captain Feathersword: Oh, ok, let’s see.

Anthony: Okay, Lucia and Tsehay, well, they’ll be the train.

Both: Chka-chka-chka-chka, chka-chka-chka-chka

Anthony: It stops at the station.

Lucia: Toot-toot!

Anthony: I’m the ticket collector. I put my hat on and I say, “Hear ye”. And then I say “Tickets, please. Tickets, please”. You give me the ticket.

Captain Feathersword: There you go.

Anthony: And I say ‘Thank you. Thank you, Thank you.”And you get on the train.

Captain Feathersword: Ohh, ooh, ok.

Anthony: Now once you’re safely onboard the train, you wave to all the people watching and then the train leaves the station.

Lucia: Toot-toot!

Both: Puff-puff, toot-toot, off we go! Puff-puff, toot-toot, off we go…!

Anthony: Hear ye. Hear ye. Here ye. All aboard!

Simon: It’s time for goodbye, let’s start waving. Waving goodbye to you.

Tsehay: This little song we’ve been saving, just to sing for you

All: Waving goodbye, goodbye to you (Waving goodbye). Waving goodbye (Goodbye) And we’ll see you soon.

Lachy: Beautiful, beautiful waving. Waving goodbye to you.
