Rosalind Manowitz, widely known by her stage name Rainbow Rosalind, is an acclaimed children's singer, songwriter, and entertainer based in Dunedin, New Zealand. Born into a musical family, she developed a passion for music early in life, which led her to pursue a classical music background. She has played the viola and flute with several prestigious orchestras, including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's National Youth Orchestra and the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra.

After studying musical theatre overseas, Rosalind discovered her true calling in creating music for children. This revelation inspired her to write engaging songs that not only entertain but also educate young audiences. Her debut album, titled "Kia Ora," features original songs that reflect her vibrant style and commitment to children's music.

Rainbow Rosalind has received numerous accolades for her work, including the APRA Best Children’s Music Video Award in 2016 for her video "Aotearoa, Home of Our Hearts." She is also known for co-hosting the award-winning children's radio show "SpaceStationKiwi," where she engages with children through song and storytelling.

Her performances are characterized by their interactive nature, often incorporating elements of dance and learning. She regularly performs at festivals and events across New Zealand, including the Queenstown Winter Festival and The Plunket Big Day Out. Additionally, she has toured schools and orphanages in Fiji, spreading joy through her music.
