Ross Wilson (born November 18, 1947) is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician, and producer who collaborated with The Wiggles throughout the early to late 2000s. He notably appeared in Space Dancing!, Santa’s Rockin’!, and Duets, portraying King Mondo in both video specials and live tours.
Outside of The Wiggles, Wilson is one of Australia’s most celebrated rock icons, boasting 26 ARIA Top 40 hits as a member of Daddy Cool, Mondo Rock, and as a solo artist. With Daddy Cool, he achieved national acclaim with the chart-topping song “Eagle Rock” and the chart-topping album Daddy Who?. Through Mondo Rock, he has released songs such as “Come Said the Boy,” “Cool World,” and “State of the Heart.” As a songwriter and producer, Wilson has worked with acts including Skyhooks, Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons, Jimmy Barnes, and John Farnham, establishing his influence across multiple generations of Australian music.
A two-time ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, Wilson continues to record and perform nationwide. In 2023, he released the EP She’s Stuck on Facebook All the Time, launching his biggest national tour in decades.
