The Wiggles' 25th Anniversary Reunion Show Poster

The 25th Anniversary Reunion Shows were a series of three concerts held in 2016 to both celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of The Wiggles and raise money for various causes, with the ticket proceeds from the first two shows being donated to the non-profit army veteran support organization Soldier On, and the proceeds from the third show having gone towards financial support for the family of a fan named "Olivia" who suffers from 1p36 deletion syndrome.

The concerts were notable for reuniting the original lineup of the band (Murray Cook, Greg Page, Jeff Fatt and Anthony Field) for the first time since the former three retired in 2012, and featured several of their classic hit songs, as well as some older Wiggles songs that had not been performed in several years. The shows were also notably the first-ever Wiggles concerts to be performed for adults instead of for children.

The show at the Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne was filmed and eventually released as a digital video in 2018 on several media platforms.

Trivia[]

  • During the concerts, all of the backing musicians (with the exception of Jackie Barnes) wore the red jackets with musical notes previously worn by various Wiggly Dancers. This marks the first appearance of the coats since the ITunes LIVE concert EP.
  • During the Sydney show, there was a blackout at the very end of "Play Your Guitar With Murray". As a result, the last two songs of the concert, "I'm a Cow" and "Hot Potato", were performed acoustically.
    • Captain Feathersword also wore a longer vest and puffier shirt for this show than the shorter vest and more straightened shirt that he wore in the latter two concerts.
  • For the Melbourne and New South Wales shows, Anthony wore different skivvies then the other three Wiggles, who wore skivvies from 2001-2007 throughout all three shows. During the former concert, he wore his current skivvy from 2012 onwards (with two Vs around the chest), and during the latter, wore a prior skivvy from 2007-2012 (with darker color shades around the arms and neck).
  • The songs "Numbers Rhumba", "Baby Baluga", "Shake Your Sillies Out", "Here Come The Reindeer" and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" were removed from the digital release of the Melbourne show.
  • Former Wiggles choreographer Leanne Halloran, her sisters Donna, Jessica, and Kate, and former dancers Larissa O'Donovan, Reem Hanwell, and Sian Ryan made guest appearances as Irish dancers during the New South Wales show.
