The Wiggles' Concert for UNICEF was a benefit concert held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre at 1pm on Sunday May 25th, 2008. The performance raised over $110,000 which went towards 300 new latrines and clean water for five schools and villages in East Timor, Asia[1]. The concert was part of The Wiggles' ongoing commitment to the international humanitarian organization UNICEF, of which they had been named Goodwill Ambassadors earlier in February that year.
A variety of notable Australian musicians and performers made guest appearances during the show, including Katie Noonan, Leo Sayer, Ross Wilson and Jimmy Barnes (as an honorary Black Wiggle).
