The Screener sticker

A screener (SCR) is an advanced screening of a film or television series sent to critics, award voters, and video stores. (for managers and employees), and other film industry professionals, including producers and distributors.

Over the years, companies such as Lyrick Studios and HIT Entertainment in America and ABC Video/Roadshow Entertainment in Australia has been handing out screeners on both VHS & DVD formats ever since 1994[1] until 2005.[2]

This is a list of Wiggles videos that were screened in both America and Australia.

  • An Australian video release were screened 32 days in advance[43] while an American video release were screened 28 days in advance.[44]
  • Despite popular belief, VHSs and DVDs with a "Not for individual sale" sticker on the back are actually out of a 2-pack or box set and not a screener VHS or DVD.

Note[]

  1. 1.0 1.1 This tape is not part of ANY multi-features packs that has been released in North America/Canada, despite featuring this sticker on the back cover of the release. However Wiggle Time! is part of the Amazon's 4-VHS lot of Wiggles tapes which is not officially sold by HIT Entertainment (it was listed for sale on July 10, 2008). It's a possibility that the barcode might still be visible on the Wiggle Time! back cover but this is unclear
