The Wiggles Go Bananas! is the thirty-second album released by The Wiggles on February 5th, 2009. The album's tie-in video special was released in Australia on March 19th, 2009, and the album itself won the 2009 ARIA Music Award for Best Children's Album.

The album features special guest appearances from Australian singers Kylie Minogue and John Waters and Irish singer Morgan Crowley.

  • The first since Sailing Around The World to feature Paul Paddick as a backing vocalist, and the first since Cold Spaghetti Western to feature Simon Pryce as a backing vocalist.
  • The last to feature Paul Field as a backing vocalist until 2019's Party Time!.
  • The only one (studio-wise) to feature guitar work solely from Murray Cook, save for a single appearance from Luke O'Neill on "The Dingle Puck Goat".
  • The last to feature Dominic Lindsay as a songwriter until Lullabies with Love.
  • The last to be mastered by Robin Gist.
  • The first to be released by E1 Entertainment following their rename from Koch Entertainment.
• All of the royalties from the song "Monkey Man" went towards donations to UNICEF Australia.

• After his departure from the Wiggles, Sam Moran would record and release a song for his TV series Play Along with Sam also called "Go Bananas!". The song was released on Moran's 2014 album We're Gonna Dance! with various other songs from the series.

Mistakes and Errors

• The original Australian release listed "Dickory, Dickory, Dare" and "Once I Saw A Little Bird" as original songs rather than as traditional arrangements.
