The Wiggles Take on the World is a television documentary produced by Talking Heads Productions and Film Finance Corporation Australia that was broadcast on Seven Network in December of 2006, shortly after Greg Page left The Wiggles due to suffering from orthostatic intolerance.
The documentary was filmed over a period of five years from 2001 to 2006 and details the band's history as well as behind-the-scenes aspects of the group's various operations and business dealings, including the daily lives of performing during the 2001 and 2002 live concert tours of Australia and North America.
The shortened version of "Get Ready To Wiggle" that was previously used as the theme to the first television series played at the beginning of the documentary, whereas the full version of the song played over the credits.
The end credits mentions that the Latin American-speaking Wiggles series was due to launch in 2006. However, the show would eventually be delayed to 2007 due to translation errors.[2]
The end credits also mention that other foreign adaptations of the Wiggles were planned for Japan, China, Brazil, India, and Europe that ultimately did not happen due to It will favored to be a lot cheaper to use foreign dubs for unknown reasons.
