- In some OG performances:
- Murray's line is changed from "Playing his guitar" to "Rocking on his guitar".
- Murray doesn't have his guitar when The Wiggles enter the stage in the vehicle.
- The 1998 version also shows the Big Red Car flying at the end. This is similar to the ending of the 1978 film Grease.
- The backgrounds in the 1999 version was later used for "Let's Go (We're Riding In The Big Red Car)".
- This song is sometimes confused with the song "Big Red Car" as they're both songs about the Big Red Car. Certain Wiggles media (such as the TV Series 1 Collector's Box Set) refers to this song by the former's title.
- The Sam Moran version of the song is played on the Big Red Car Interactive Game.
- Despite being made during this time, the 1999 remake didn't air on television because it never appeared on any of the Series 2 episodes.
- An instrumental track of this song is played during the end credits of the Hot Potatoes! - When this song was performed at the 2020 reunion show for bushfire relief, the "Greg is doing the driving" verse was skipped.
- During the first leg of the Holiday Party Big Show tour, the first verse was "Tsehay is doing the driving" and the second verse was "Lucia is doing the driving" rather than any other verse due to them skipping the first three verses. This marks the first time that a different Wiggle, other than a yellow Wiggle, was doing the driving due to it being a shorter version of the song.
Goofs
- In some transfers of the original 1998 version, Anthony's skivvy is darker than it usually is, which is a common side effect of using a green screen. This issue was fixed on the UK release, which keeps the 1998 version intact, despite having the 1999 edits.
- Anthony Field's name got removed from Meet The Wiggles!.
- The Karaoke Songs 1 album booklet shows that John Field's name was in the credits, although he didn't write it. The same thing happened on Wiggly Jukebox, but with Craig Abercrombie's name added.
