The Adventures of Captain Feathersword: Part 1 is the first part of a short mini-story and the sixth episode from sesaon 2 of The Wiggles and Friends animated series. It would be followed up with The Adventures of Captain Feathersword: Part 2.
Synposis[]
Greg and Anthony are reading a story about the time The Wiggles meet Captain Feathersword and all the amazing adventures they had with his friendly pirate friends, Raj, Penelope and Imran.

- This episode is a two-parter
- The episode and it's follow-up are slight retellings of the 1993 EP, The Adventures Of Captain Feathersword, The Friendly Pirate, although some parts or the story (the chest of baked beans and the birthday party) weren't used and replaced with different stories in line with the Friendly Pirate video.
- It includes a re-recorded version of the titular character's song and Our Boat Is Rocking On The Sea that was featured in The Wiggles second TV Series
- This is the first time Raj, Penelope and Imran have been seen
- This and the following episode are the last time Raj, Penelope and Imran are used as part of The Friendly Pirate Crew
- Greg and Anthony are both the narrators of this and the following episode. They're also appear as themselves as part of The Friendly Pirate Crew along with Murray and Jeff
- The same tin-whistle introduction from the EP is used for the opening of the episode

(The episode starts with The Wiggles logo above these 4 characters in the show. Until, Greg is singing the Song: Here Come The Wiggles plays in the background, it shows their names appear in the opening sequence.)
Wiggles: (singing) It's the Wiggles, it's the Wiggles
Greg: (singing) Dancing with their friends
Dorothy: (She giggles.) Heee heee heee.
Wiggles: (singing) It's the Wiggles, it's the Wiggles
Greg: (singing) The fun will never end
Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there.
Greg: (singing) We'd like you to clap and sing and dance along too
Now that everybody's here,
Wiggles: (singing) That'll be so easy, that'll be so easy

(The title "The Wiggles and Friends" appears before fading to black. A title card reading: The Adventures of Captain Feathersword appears. It is read by all four Wiggles)
Wiggles: The Adventures of Captain Feathersword.
(Greg then reads the subtitle)
Greg: Part 1: Meet The Captain and his Friendly Crew.
(We cut to a dock in Wiggles World, where we see Greg and Anthony reading a from a story book about Captain Feathersword)
Greg: Captain Feathersword is a friendly pirate who wears an eye-patch, and has a sword made only of feathers.
Anthony: Why does the Captain have a sword made only of feathers, Greg?
(Greg shrugs)
Greg: I don't know Anthony. Let's go ask the Captain himself.
Anthony: Good idea.
(The two walk over to Captain Feathersword, who is maintaining his ship, The S.S. Feathersword. They call out to him)
Greg and Anthony: Ahoy there, Captain Feathersword
(The Captain comes down to greet them)
Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there, me hearties!
Anthony: Captain we were just wondering, why do you have a sword made only of feathers?
Captain Feathersword: Oh well, my sword is only for tickling people, not hurting them. Here, let me show you how it works.
(The Captain tickles Anthony, making him giggle and jump up and down)
Anthony: (laughs while tickled from feathersword) Hey, stop that, Captain Feathersword! We've got to tell everyone stories about you and we won't be able to if I'm laughing too much. Okay?
Captain Feathersword: Okay.
Anthony: Right?
Captain Feathersword: Right.
Greg: Hey!
Captain Feathersword: Hey!
Greg: Stop repeating what I say!
Captain Feathersword: Stop repeating what I say!
Greg: Captain Feathersword!
Captain Feathersword: Captain Feathersword!
Greg: Now that's enough!
Captain Feathersword: Now that's enough!
Anthony: What will we do?
Captain Feathersword: What will I do?
Greg: Stop.
Captain Feathersword: Stop.
Greg: Now stop.
Captain Feathersword: Stop.
Greg and Anthony: Okay?
Captain Feathersword: Okay.
Greg: Captain Feathersword, we all know how much you love to have fun tickling and dancing.
Captain Feathersword: Oh yes Greg I do. I really do.
Anthony: Well we were wondering if you'd be able to teach us how to do a pirate dance?
Captain Feathersword: Oh, of course me hearties! I'll teach you a pirate dance. But I need my friendly pirate crewmates to help me do it. Raj, Imran, Penelope, come over here and help me sing and dance. But first, say hello to everyone and tell them your names, me ship mates.
(Three pirates enter and introduce themselves)
Raj: Hi, everyone. I'm Raj.
Penelope: Hi, I'm Penelope.
Imran: Hi, I'm Imran.
Captain Feathersword: Ah well, now that we're all here, let's do the pirate dance together. Hoo-hoo!!
(A wave transitions into the Song: Captain Feathersword as the Captain, the Pirates and The Wiggles begin to do the pirate dance)
Pirates: Captain Feathersword he loves to dance
He will show you how
Captain Feathersword, he loves to dance
Captain Feathersword: I will show you now.
Fold your arms in front of you, argh.
Start to hop, it's fun to do, me hearties.
Climb the ropes, c'mon, let's try it.
Now you're dancing like a pirate. Whoa-ho!
Pirates: Captain Feathersword he loves to dance
He will show you how
Captain Feathersword, he loves to dance
Captain Feathersword: I will show you now.
Fold your arms in front of you, argh.
Start to hop, it's fun to do, argh.

Pirates: Captain Feathersword he loves to dance

Captain Feathersword: Everybody bow. And give yourself a pirate clap, me hearties.
(Everyone claps as we cut back to Greg talking)
Greg: Well, thank you, friendly pirates, that was a lovely dance. You can all have a rest a now and I'll tell everyone some stories about you all. Okay?
Pirates: Okay.
Greg: Right?
Pirates: Right.
Greg: Hey!
Pirates: Hey!
Greg: Now stop that!
Pirates: Now stop that!
Greg: Stop repeating what I say!
Pirates: Stop repeating what I say!
Greg: Now that's enough!
Pirates: Now that's enough!
(This repeats for a bit until fading to a new scene on board, The S.S. Feathersword. Greg and Anthony are now dressed as pirates and are still reading the story book)
Greg: As the Captain made his ship leave the docks, he began checking a map. But this wasn't any normal map, it was a Treasure Map!
Anthony: A Treasure map?!
Greg: Yes, a Treasure map. It belonged to a pirate teacher Captain Feathersword was once taught by.
(The Captain is seen checking the map as Raj, Imran and Penelope are busy doing pirate chores)
Captain Feathersword: Oh Headmaster Pirate, if only you were here to help guide us to your treasure.
Imran: What's the matter, Captain?
Captain Feathersword: Well, I'm missing a piece of the map and I don't know where to find it.
Imran: Is it somewhere on the boat?
(The Captain nods)
Imran: Well why don't we search the ship for it?
Captain Feathersword: Good idea! Maybe you could help find the missing piece, me hearties?
(We cut to various shots of the pirates looking for the map piece. Raj is looking in the brig, Penelope is in the crows nest and Imran is in the navigation room)
Raj: It's not down here.
Penelope: It's now up here either.
Imran: And it's not here too.
Captain Feathersword: Oh dear, I think I've lost the missing piece. How silly of me, argh.
(The three pirates comfort the sad Captain. While Greg and Anthony are watching, they notice something odd on the Captain's hat)
Anthony: Hey Greg, I think they're trying to tell us something.
Greg: I think you're right Anthony. (to viewers) Is there something on the Captain's hat? There is? We better go tell him.
(Greg and Anthony go over to the pirates)
Greg: Captain, I think everyone is trying to tell you something.
Captain Feathersword: They are?
Greg: They're saying that the missing piece is on your hat.
Captain Feathersword: On my hat? Oh, I'll better have a look.
(He takes his hat off, revealing the missing piece to be there)
Captain Feathersword: Oh! It is there too! Oh thank you, me hearties! I'm sometime so forgetful.
Anthony: Forgetful?
Captain Feathersword: One thing I learnt in Pirate School, is the safest place for a map is on your hat.
All: Your hat?!?
Captain Feathersword: I must have forgotten to grab the other piece.
All: Oh Captain Feathersword!
(They all laugh joyfully)
Captain Feathersword: Well now that we have the map all together, let's sail for the missing treasure!
Pirates: Aye, aye, Captain!
(Raj, Imran and Penelope begin to prepare for the forcoming voyage as the Captain stands behind the steering wheel. As the boat begins to set sail, the pirates gather around for another dance)
Captain Feathersword: Well me hearties, this pirate dance is a really special one. It's one I learnt back when I was a young pirate in Pirate School. Let me show you this special dance!
(Captain Feathersword and co form a dancing line as the Song: Nya Nya Nya begins)
Captain Feathersword: Here we go now, me hearties! Hoo-hoo!
(singing) Nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya.
Nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya.
(singing) Nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya, nya.

(Instrumental break to the pirate's dancing to a lively tune)

(The song finishes and everyone begins to clap once again)
Captain Feathersword: Whoa! Hoo-hoo! Wow! Wow, that was great dancing, me hearties!
(We fade to a dreary-looking sky as everyone is still maintaining the ship)
Greg: After sailing the sea with his friendly pirate crew, Captain Feathersword had noticed that the weather was turning nasty. Storm clouds were gathering. It was windy and the sea was becoming very rough.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, it looks like it's going to rain! Raj, Penelope, Imran, let's tie down the sails so they don't rip up in the storm.
Greg: The friendly pirates worked hard together and finally secured the sails to the ships masts. Downstairs warm in the ship's galley, the pirates sang a song each about the wind, or rain or the sea. Penelope sang about the wind.
Penelope: Wind blows, wind blows, blow wind blows.
Greg: Raj and Imran sang about the rain.
Raj and Imran: Rain falls on the deck, rain falls on the sails
Rain falls on my head, it doesn't worry whales
(The pirates clap and laugh)
Greg: The pirates were having such a great time singing their favourite songs that they forgot about the approaching storm.
Penelope: Now it's your turn to sing a song, Captain
Greg: All the other pirates joined in urging Captain Feathersword to sing a song.
(The other pirates beg Captain Feathersword to sing a song)
Captain Feathersword: Ah alright, if you want me to sing a song, I suppose I'll have to.
Greg: Just as Captain Feathersword stood up to sing his song, a huge wave crashed over the boat!
(A thundurus crack and wet sploosh is heard as the Song: Our Boat Is Rocking On The Sea begins)
Captain Feathersword: Now our ship's really rocking!
Greg: (singing) The friendly pirate ship is rocking on the sea
Rocking on the sea, rocking on the sea
The friendly pirate ship is rocking on the sea
We're all getting tossed about
Captain Feathersword: (singing) When the storm calms down, we'll sail the sea again

Captain Feathersword: (He laughs) Ahoy there me hearties!
(The song ends)
Greg: Captain Feathersword lost his balance and fell to the ground.
(Captain Feathersword tumbles and groans)
Greg: Everyone thought this was funny and broke out in laughter.
(The Pirates laugh followed by the Captain himself)
Greg: Even Captain Feathersword joined in, laughing at his own misfortune.
Captain Feathersword: Oh how silly of me, me hearties! Hoo-hoo!
Greg: Suddenly, a spurt of water sprang from the wall of the boat and splashed Captain Feathersword on the head. The laughter came to an abrupt end.
(The laughter stops. There is a long pause)
Captain Feathersword: Oh, ho, ho, no! I think the boat has sprung a leak! But it's only a small hole so there's nothing to worry about just yet.
Greg: Just as Captain Feathersword reassured his crew, another leak spurted from the wall hitting Imran on the ear.
Imran: Ow!
Greg: Imran jumped with surprise from his seat. Another leak spurted out hitting Penelope on the back of her neck.
Penelope: Ooch!
Greg: And yet another spurted out hitting Raj in the back.
Raj: Yipes!
Greg: There were leaks springing out all over the boat.
Captain Feathersword: Okay, me hearties, there's nothing to worry about. All we have to do is use the buckets to bail the water out.
Penelope: That's a great idea, Captain. Imran, Raj, come with me and we'll get the buckets from the bucket cupboard.
Greg: The pirates raced to the bucket cupboard. Raj unlocked the cupboard and passed the buckets out to the crew. Penelope stared with amazement at the bottom of the bucket. Raj and Imran also stared at the bottom of their buckets.
Penelope: Oh no, there's a hole in this bucket!
Raj: There's a hole in this bucket, as well!
Imran: And this bucket has a hole in it, too!
Greg: In fact, all the buckets had holes. Captain Feathersword had forgotten to have all the buckets repaired.
Imran: What are we going to do?
(Realising his mistake, the Captain takes his hat off, scratching his head trying to think of a way to bail the water out of the boat)
Captain Feathersword: Err, let's see now. Uh, what can we use to get rid of all this water? How about we use our drinking cups?
Penelope: No, they're too small.
Captain Feathersword: Uh... what about these coconut shells?
Raj: No, they're not much bigger.
Captain Feathersword: Oh, there's gotta be a solution.
Greg: Staring intently at his hat, the Captain suddenly jumped to his feet.
Captain Feathersword: ARGH, that's it! We can use our hats!
Penelope: Good on you, Captain Feathersword! We all knew you'd get us of this predicament.
Greg: Without hesitation, all the pirates removed the hats from their heads and started bailing the water out of the boat. Captain Feathersword took extra care to remove the feather from his hat before helping the other pirates bail the water out. Pretty soon, all the water was out of the boat.
Captain Feathersword: (laughs) Well, me hearties, that was a close one.
(The Captain looks out the galley window)
Captain Feathersword: Well, the storm is over now so let's go up on deck and dry our hats out.
Penelope: Hey, everybody, let's give three cheers for the Captain. Hip, hip...
Pirates: Hooray!
Peneleope: Hip, hip...
Pirates: Hooray!
Peneleope: Hip, hip...
Pirates: Hooray!
(We fade to black as clips of the next episode play with Greg and Anthony talking)
Anthony: Well that was lots of fun!
Greg: But we're not done yet. Tune in next time for the end of this fantasic story!
Anthony: It's sure to be lots of fun. We'll see you again soon!
Greg and Anthony: Bye-bye
