The Wiggly Talent Show is the third episode of the first season of The Wiggles and Friends series.
Synopsis[]
Anthony and Captain Feathersword are setting up for the first ever Talent Show at Wigglehouse. Everyone's practicing their acts for the show. It's time for the Wiggly Talent Show!
Trivia[]
- One of the scenes is based on a similar Magic skit in Series 2 of The Wiggles TV Show in the episode "Hygiene".
- The ending gag of Jeff saying "Oh No I wasn't" and being replied with "Oh Yes, you were" is the first time since their early concert (speficially ABC For Kids: Live In Concert) when the gag was reused.

(The episode starts with The Wiggles logo above these 4 characters in the show. Until, Greg is singing the Song: Here Come The Wiggles plays in the background, it shows their names appear in the opening sequence.)
Wiggles: (singing) It's the Wiggles, it's the Wiggles
Greg: (singing) Dancing with their friends
Dorothy: (She giggles.) Heee heee heee.
Wiggles: (singing) It's the Wiggles, it's the Wiggles
Greg: (singing) The fun will never end
Captain Feathersword: Ahoy there.
Greg: (singing) We'd like you to clap and sing and dance along too
Now that everybody's here,
Wiggles: (singing) That'll be so easy, that'll be so easy
That'll be so easy to do.
(The title "The Wiggles and Friends" appears before transitioning to Wigglehouse where Greg is practicing his magic tricks)
Greg: Hello everybody, it’s a very exciting day today, because today we’re having a talent show with all of our friends! We’re each going to have a go at showing off something we’re good at and what we like to do, and it’s going to be so much fun! I’m going to show everyone my latest magic trick. Check this out!
(Magic Club Music plays as Greg does the magic, showing everyone his empty hat. He puts the hat down, while he waves his magic wand. Until, a mini TV comes out of the hat.)
Greg: Thank you, thank you kindly! Now watch this!
(Greg tosses the TV towards the viewer and transitions to the song Wake Up Jeff! A scene where The Wiggles & their friends are gonna wake Jeff up.)
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) Everybody's wiggling.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) We really need you.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) You're missing all the fun now.
Wake Up Jeff before the day's through.
What's that sound? I can hear somebody snoring.
What's that sound? It's not Murray or Greg.
Anthony's awake so let's have another guess now.
Oh my goodness! It must be Jeff!
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) Everybody's wiggling.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) We really need you.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) You're missing all the fun now.
Wake Up Jeff before the day's through.
(Guitar solo for an instrumental break, while Jeff's snoring.)
Greg: (singing) Dorothy the Dinosaur is munching on some roses.
Wags the Dog is digging up bones.
Henry the Octopus is dancing round in circles.
Wake Up Jeff! We need you for the show!
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) Everybody's wiggling.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) We really need you.
Wiggles: (singing) Wake Up Jeff!
Greg: (singing) You're missing all the fun now.
Wake Up Jeff before the day's through.
Jeff: (yawning.) Can you keep that noise down? I'm trying to sleep.
(As the song ends, a static transition brings us back to Wigglehouse, where the Talent Show is about to begin. Henry walks out onto the small stage and introduces the Talent Show)
Henry: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the first ever wiggly talent show!
(Everyone cheers)
Henry: Up first we have Captain Feathersword the friendly pirate and Wags the Dog performing a spectacular trick!
(Everyone claps as Captain and Wags come on stage)
Captain Feathersword: Prepare to be amazed, me hearty's! I give you, Wags the Magnificent!
(Wags begins to perform some magic and circus tricks which includes pulling out a bouquet of flowers which he gives to Dorothy, swinging a ball on his nose, and the pull out of a hat trick, using his bone as a magic wand and waving it around a magic hat. He pulls out a handkerchief from the hat as it reveals that they were leading to a pair of underwear belonging to the Captain. Captain Feathersword gasps as the audience and Wags laugh.)
Captain Feathersword: UNDIES?! OH! I better have those back. Thanks you, Wags. (He takes hankies back from Wags & puts them away. Clearing his throat, the camera pans onto the Captain as he introduces the next trick.) For this next trick, I will require a unicyle and some bowling pins.
(Wags hands the Captain his unicyle and bowling pins. The Captain thanks his animal friend and puts down his feathersword before beginning to juggle. The Captain begin to hum the tune "Enter The Gladiators" in a high-pitch voice as the crowd and Wags watch. While his is happening, Wags decides to play a trick on the Captain. Spotting his lone feathersword, Wags picks it up and tickles the Captain. He begins to giggle from the tickly before losing his balance and crashes offscreen.)
Wags: (He chuckles due to Captain's misfortune before helping him up.)
Captain Feathersword: (He coughs and dusts himself off as he gets back up and walks back on stage while groans.) Even the best of us make mistakes occasionally. Never leave your feathersword lone or someone will tickle you when you less expect it.
(The two share a laugh together as the crowds applause them. They then take a bow as a unicyle transition into Marching Along/Dorothy's Birthday Party. A scene fades where The Wiggles & company are marching along, while going to invite a birthday party for Dorothy.)
Greg: (singing) Marching along
Singing a song
Ring-a-ring-rong
Bing-a-bing-bong...
We're on our way to Dorothy the Dinosaur's birthday party. (with others.) Yeah! (himself to the viewers to come along.) You can come too.
(singing) Marching along

(It transitions with a scene-dissolve fades as the song: Dorothy's Birthday Party begins. Dorothy is very excited about her birthday party with all of their friends to play some games & lots of fun stuff at the party.)
Dorothy: It's my party, and you're all invited. (She giggles.)
Greg: (singing) Well, you know about Dorothy the Dinosaur
(Dorothy giggles.)
Greg: (singing) But now I'll tell you some more

(Dorothy giggles.)

(A flower transitions us back to the stage. It's the end of the talent show and everyone is helping pack down the stage. Jeff is seen sleeping on the stage. Murray notices and Anthony and Greg follow him.)
Murray: Hey look, everyone. Jeff's fallen asleep again.
Greg: Oh dear! He has fallen asleep. Well, look, we'd better wake Jeff up, okay? Let's play a little trick on our friend, Jeff. When I count to three, let's all say, "Wake Up, Jeff!" And that will wake him up and he'll jump up and down and do all sorts of silly things. It will be really, really funny. So when I count to three, let's say, "Wake Up, Jeff!" (with Murray & Anthony.) 1, 2, 3, WAKE UP, JEFF!!!!!!
(Jeff jumps and burbles as he pretends to be a horse. Clopping around the other three laughing Wiggles)
Jeff: (while still a horse) Wooh, wooh there.
(He then comes too)
Greg: (still through a fit of giggles) Jeff, what are you doing?
Jeff: I dreamt I was a racehorse.
Greg: Well that's because you were sleeping again.
Jeff: Oh no I wasn't!
Wiggles: Oh yes, you were!!
Jeff: (through yawns) Oh no I wasn't!
Wiggles: Oh yes, you were!!
Jeff: Oh no I... I...-
(Before he can finish, Jeff's head drops down again as he falls asleep)
Greg: OH NO!! He's done it again, I don't believe this. Let's try that trick again, only louder this time. (with Murray & Anthony.) 1, 2, 3, WAKE UP, JEFF!!!!!!
Jeff: (He blubbers, while he's waking up by jumping up high to make The Awake Wiggles are laughing.)
Anthony: Jeff, are you awake now?
Jeff: I'm awake now, Anthony.
Anthony: That's great, Jeff. Thanks for waking Jeff up. Because Jeff, we need you.
Jeff: You do?
Anthony: We need you to show us how to point your fingers,
Jeff: Point my fingers,
Anthony: And doooo the twist!
Jeff: And doooo the twist!
Greg: Hey, that's great Jeff. That's great twisting. Hey, now, Jeffery, I've got one for you. Can you try this? Can you stand on one foot?
Jeff: Stand on one foot.
Greg: Yeah, and shake your hands!
Jeff: Yeah, yeah!
Murray: Hey, I know. Let's all point our fingers and do the twist together. Yeah, yeah!
(A wiggly fingers transition leads into the song: Can You (Point Your Fingers And Do The Twist?) A scene where Greg & friends are going to dance. While, Anthony is playing a drum set, Murray is playing his electric guitar & Jeff is playing his keyboard.)
Greg: Alright, everybody, let's all get ready to point our fingers and we'll do the twist. Here we go.
(singing) Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
Anthony: Everybody's twisting, Greg.
Greg: (singing) Can you point your fingers and do the twist?
Anthony: We're all doing the twist.
Wiggles: (singing) Well, we're gonna go up, then go down
Get back up and turn around

Anthony: What's next, Greg? what's next?
Greg: (singing) Can you stand on one foot and shake your hands?
Murray: Oh boy, that's hard.
