Trivia[]
- This album was the first to feature:
- Emma Pask as a (uncredited) vocalist.[4]
- Sam Moran as a backing vocalist.
- Percussionist Steve Machamer as a musician.
- Mark Punch as a guitarist.
- The Wiggles and Steve Irwin recorded their vocals separately for this album because the group was too busy touring.[5]
- Sam Moran provided the vocals for Irwin's lines as a guide track before Irwin himself recorded them.[6]
- Prior to the album's release, "Do The Owl", "Dorothy Queen Of The Roses", and "The Wiggle Owl Medley", were first performed during the Wiggly Party: Live in Concert tour of 2001.
- "Dorothy Queen Of The Roses" and "The Wiggle Owl Medley" were the only songs on the album to not have an intro.
- On the North American cassette and digital streaming releases of the album, "Snakes (You Can Look, But You Better Not Touch)"'s title was shortened to "Snakes".
- The North American release had revised credits for the songs "Australia Zoo" (John Field's name was added), "Cocky Want A Cracker" (The Wiggles' names were removed) and "You Might Like A Pet" (Dominic Lindsay's name was added).
- The album was nominated for the 2002 ARIA Music Award For Best Children's Album, but lost to Hi-5's Boom Boom Beat.
- This was the first Wiggles album to be distributed by Roadshow Entertainment.
Mistakes and Errors[]
- Jeff Fatt was not credited for playing the keyboards, piano, or accordion.
- There were various errors in song writing credits on both releases of the album:
- The liner notes of the Australian release did not credit Marie Field for writing "Butterflies Flit".
- Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt were not credited for writing "Rock-A-Bye Your Bear" in the song credits of "The Wiggle Owl Medley" in either release (they were retroactively credited with writing the song as of 1999).
- Craig Abercrombie was not credited for writing "Wiggly Party" in the song credits of "The Wiggle Owl Medley" in the liner notes of the North American release.
- In the liner notes of the North American release from E1 Music, song credits for "Old Man Emu" and "Swim With Me" were not listed at all.
- On Spotify, Steve Irwin is not credited for writing "Do The Owl" and "The Wiggle Owl Medley".
